We are continuing to plan for the USS John Paul Jones Reunion to be held in Nashville, April 17-20, 2009.
Purchase your plane tickets early, they ain't getting any cheaper.
It would be a great help to us to get some preliminary numbers so we may plan some neat and unusual tours.
One of these could be a "behind the scenes" look at the Tennessee Museum and War Memorial Building - http://www.tnmuseum.org/exhibitions.cfm/16. This not a general public tour. This tour will be set up just for us.
The other tour will be the "Nashville Trash Tour" - http://www.nashtrash.com/. There is limited seating on this tour. If we have enough, we will have to run this tour more than once.
If you plan to attend, please send a
message to firstname.lastname@example.org
with "I plan to attend (and # in your party)" in the subject line.
Example: "I plan to attend 2"
This is not a firm count, and does not obligate you in any way. This is for planning purposes only.

gives you more info and pictures about Nashville than you have time to look at:

Breaking News 09-Apr-09: TDOT will close the east bound lanes of I-24 and I-40 on the weekend of our reunion. Below is a map that shows the west bound lanes closed. The east bound lane closure will be in the same location. Those who plan to drive need to be aware of this, as it is close to the hotel. It affects anyone who is driving in from the west.
